This policy describes the Name Atlas naming tools and editorial pages on this website. It distinguishes what the website’s own code does from services supplied by the hosting platform, your browser and sites you choose to visit. See Contact for the current contact status.

Naming inputs and calendar details

The generator, name checker and Chinese calendar calculations run in your browser. This edition does not send those form inputs to a naming API or a remote AI model. Inputs can include a family name, naming brief, preferred language, country, and birth date or time in the calendar tool. The calendar tool does not save its birth inputs in the site’s local storage. Browser autofill or session restoration may retain form entries under your browser settings.

Use only the information needed for the task. Avoid government identifiers, private information about other people, or full birth details in a free-text naming brief. Country selection describes naming context; this site does not request precise device location.

Saved names, downloads and retention

When you save a name, the name and its naming brief are kept in your browser under the localStorage key name-atlas-shortlist. A brief may contain a family name or other personal information you entered. The app retains up to 100 saved entries. This is persistent browser storage, not an account-based cloud backup; it has no app-set automatic expiry. It remains until you remove items, clear the site’s browser data, or the browser removes it.

Remove entries on your shortlist. Clearing site data in your browser also removes the local list, but may sign you out of the hosting platform. Report and correction-draft downloads stay wherever you save them until you delete them. Sharing or backing up those files is under your control. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to read saved entries.

Hosting, access and optional speech

Page requests reach the hosting service, which may process IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser or device information, and security or diagnostic records to deliver and protect the site. If the hosting platform requires sign-in, its account, authentication and cookie practices also apply. This app does not create a separate Name Atlas account. We do not have a verified hosting-log retention period or processing-location inventory and do not claim that the host collects no data.

Pronunciation playback is optional and uses your browser’s speech service. Depending on the selected voice and browser, spoken text may be processed by a device or cloud speech provider. Avoid playing sensitive text. Device settings and the provider’s policies govern this service; playback is not a native-speaker assessment.

Email correspondence

If you email the operator, the operator receives your email address, message, and any name or attachments you choose to include. This information is used to respond to the inquiry, investigate a correction or handle the request you describe. Email is handled through the operator’s Gmail mailbox and your own email provider; their services may process message contents and connection data. The website itself has no message-submission endpoint.

No fixed mailbox-retention period has been supplied by the operator. You can request deletion of correspondence using the contact email; a request does not automatically erase provider backups or records that must be retained under applicable requirements. Avoid sending unnecessary personal data.

Current cookies, analytics and sharing

This edition has no Google AdSense integration, advertising trackers or site analytics scripts. The app does not set its own cookies; the shortlist uses localStorage. Platform authentication or security cookies may still be present. See Cookies & local storage.

The naming app has no feature that sells naming inputs or sends them to an advertising network. That statement does not describe all independent hosting or browser-provider practices. Links to external sources open third-party sites that receive ordinary connection information and apply their own policies. Candidate text is not automatically submitted to the external domain and trademark tools linked in name reports.

If Google advertising is introduced

Google ads are not active in this edition. Before activating them, the operator must update this policy to reflect the actual configuration, identify the participating vendors, and implement the applicable consent and privacy choices. The following explains that planned use; it is not a claim that advertising cookies are already loaded.

With Google advertising enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this website or other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize advertising using visits across sites. Users can manage or opt out of Google personalized advertising through My Ad Center; participating third-party choices are available at AboutAds choices. See how Google uses information from partner sites. Opting out of personalization does not necessarily remove ads or all storage.

For personalized ads served to users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent-management platform integrated with the IAB TCF. Other ad modes and regions may have their own consent or opt-out requirements. A policy page or a decorative cookie banner does not implement these choices. No advertising consent is requested or recorded by this edition.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can use the tools without saving a shortlist, remove saved entries, delete downloaded files, decline to use speech playback, and manage site storage in your browser. Depending on your location and the processing involved, privacy rights may include access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent. This page does not claim a legal basis or response process that the operator has not established.

Operated by lala rose. Contact: gonggoop5@gmail.com. Country or region: United States. You can email this address with a privacy request. Describe the relevant page, data and requested action; do not send passwords or identity documents in an initial email. A mail link opens your email application; you decide whether to send the message. The correction-draft tool only creates a local file and does not deliver a privacy request. For hosting or account data, use the platform’s own privacy channels. The app’s local-storage controls cannot erase provider logs. You may also contact the relevant data-protection authority where applicable.

Children, security and changes

Baby-name tools are intended to help parents and other adults choose names; they do not require a child to create an account or submit personal information. Avoid entering identifying information about a child. This statement does not itself establish the audience classification required by an advertising provider.

Use a trusted device and be careful with downloaded briefs. No storage method or transmission can be guaranteed absolutely secure. We will revise this page when the app’s actual data practices change, including when contact or advertising services are added. The date above records this policy revision, not an AdSense approval or legal certification.
